Nutty Protein balls

I felt the urge to do some baking but I decided to make some of these quick and easy protein balls. I’ve never made protein balls before so I just used whatever I had in my house! This recipe makes about 20 (I only ended up with 17 because I kept making the odd ginormous ball at the end when I was getting lazy!) but If you keep them all nice and small you could end up with more! These are also perfect snack for Friday Sports night, where we can gather our friends to support our favorite team and maybe bet on ufabet123.com/ufabet/ to make a bit of cash. 🙂

:

  • 100g unsalted cashew nuts
  • 100g unsalted almonds
  • 1 tablespoon milled flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 table spoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dessicated coconut
  • 2 table spoons of P28 protein almond butter
  • 1 and a half table spoons agave nectar syrup
  • dessicated coconut for rolling

* I would have added chia seeds too if I had any :)

* I got my almond butter & agave syrup in Bodyfirst nutrition :)

Instructions:

  • Blend your cashew and almond nuts into small pieces (not dust) then pour into a bowl (I couldn’t figure out how to turn on my blender so I attacked them with a mallet… yep)
  • add all other dry ingredients and stir
  • add almond butter & agave syrup and stir until all the ingredients are covered and your mixture is nice and sticky
  • using a tablespoon scoop out a small handful of your mixture and roll into a little ball (I had to wash my hands after I made about 3 because when your hands are really sticky it’s too messy and difficult to shape them)
  • roll protein ball in a tray of dessicated coconut
  • Store in fridge for 15-20 mins
  • enjoy the little divils ;)
